Refund Policy

Effective: 13 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 13 July 2026

We want you to be happy with what you buy from Tinkersoft. This policy explains when and how you can get a refund on our macOS software and SaaS subscriptions.

How refunds are processed: Because Paddle is our Merchant of Record, refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. You can request one by contacting us at [email protected] or via the Paddle receipt you received by email.

01 Standard refund window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase if the product does not work as described or you are not satisfied. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

02 Digital products

Our products are digital goods delivered electronically. Once a licence key has been issued or software downloaded, we may decline refunds outside the window above where the product is functioning as described, except where a statutory right requires otherwise (see section 05).

03 Subscriptions & cancellations

You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not generally provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a term unless required by law. You keep access until the period you paid for ends.

04 When a refund may not apply

We review each request in good faith and will always honour non-waivable consumer rights.

05 Your statutory rights (EU/UK and others)

If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region with a statutory right of withdrawal, you may have up to 14 days to cancel a purchase. Note that this right can end once supply of digital content begins with your prior consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.

06 How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number (from your Paddle receipt) and the reason;
  2. We'll confirm and, if approved, ask Paddle to process the refund;
  3. Paddle refunds your original payment method.

07 Chargebacks

If you have a problem, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your licence pending review.
